Welcome to London

Hi lovely people! Hope you are enjoying a sunny weekend! (Thank god for the sunshine!) This weekend has been another exciting one with my friend's band being at Glastonbury (Wish we were there!) and my best friend arrived in London! Can't get more exciting than this!

Our welcome plan for my friend started with a small crafy project..
Hand mand little goodie bag with some smellies.
Nothing better than having a bath after a long flight, right?

Don't forget the Union Jack!

Hope she likes my hand made goodie bag with love!

With the little presents in our hands,
we went to Heathrow airport to pick her up!
(By the way, unlike the other ones Terminal 5 is so nice and clean!)

After a long anxious but exciting wait....
Here she is with a big smile!!

Our welcoming plan wasn't quite as dramatic as this
but I am so glad that she is finally here!

PS Who will be dancing to Beyonce on TV later on today?
Definitely me and Yoko! X

Pom pom and messy bun

Hi people! Hope you are enjoying the sunshine! Isn't it so good that it's still light until late in the evening? I feel like I have extra time everyday! This weekend I got a bit carried away making these little woolly things, pom pom!

It's much easier to make than you think!
Wind your wool around you fingers and keep winding winding and winding...
About 100 times for big one 50 times for small.
(Depending on the thickness of your wool)

Once you have the amount you like, take it off from your fingers
and tie it up with a bit of wool and make a knot.

And cut the rings open on both sides.

 Bit of trimming...

 Pom pom pom pom!

No more bad hair days!

Not only for hair!

I keep spotting pretty girls with a cool messy bun lately.
Here is a great guide on how to make messy French bun
If you accessorise with a pom pom wouldn't it be even prettier?

Have a great week with nice hair! x

Mr and Mrs Egg

Hello friends! Hope you are having a great weekend in the rain. Today I want to share with you guys a super easy and delicious breakfast which I found here the other day and is perfect to start your morning!

All you need is
Pinenuts (if you have some)
That's it! Super easy!

Cut a circle in the middle of the bread and fry until slightly brown

Drop an egg in the middle! Fry until the egg is not sticking on the pan.

Then flip it! (Yes, you can do it!)

Cook the other side until nicely brown and toasted.
If you like a runny yalk, don't cook it too long.

Put sliced avocado and sprinkle roasted pinenuts and a bit of salt and pepper.
Sorry Mr Egg, she turned into a tasty breakfast!

Have a great week everyone! (Hope it gets sunnier!)

This is not what I expected

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well. Can you believe it's June already? (How did this happen?) This weekend I tried a little alteration on my dress that I bought a long time ago but had been hidden in my wardrobe since. Have you ever done online shopping that wasn't quite what you had expected?

I was supposed to look like this! She looks well cool in the dress!
But it's too big on me especially the shoulders look enormous... Boooo.

So, I did a little bit of alteration! Sewed and tucked in the shoulders and shortened the length!

Now I can finally wear this dress, we went out for a Sunday brunch at the trendy East end restaurant, Bistrotheque. You might imagine the piano man is playing classical music but his music selection was strictly cheesy pop music only, like Diana Ross. That's what I am talking about!

Pancake with bacon and maple syrup. I thank American poeple for inventing this. Yum.

Tom having Egg florentine.

Roasted peaches with honey and thyme (I know!) and mascarpone cheese.

We had a great brunch and also the piano man put me in the mood for Diana Ross all afternoon!
I have her on spotify as I write this!

Doesn't she look amazing in this picture?

Have a great week everyone!
